Sling Smash

Sling Smash is a small physics based game with one mechanic, flinging yourself into everything. Smash through enemies and bounce off the walls! Collect fire and ice powerups to deal damage over time! Rack up the score for as long as you can!

• Use your mouse to grab and fling yourself into enemies
• Chain together hits to get score multipliers
• Boss spawns at 1,000 score, the rest is just regular enemies 

This small game took me too long, I dragged this game through development hell, the game changed many times over the course of 2 years (very much on and off development). I needed to wrap it up and move on, rather than abandoning it which is what I would typically do, I wanted to upload it in its current state. So it could be played and also stand as a reminder to never not have a plan again. 

Yes, its unfinished, a bit rough around the edges  and not totally what I had set out to make, a lot of systems went into this game most of which are not even in use in the current state, but I've learned a lot along the way. I now have a clearer idea of how I want to make games, and now have closure on a chapter in my life, and can move on. 

Its all about learning and growing, and that's how I see this, a little piece of art, to me, in a way it reflects me and my journey, my short comings and obsessiveness, my overthinking and doubts about if I can really do this. Its deeper than the actual game of course most of its in my head and the reflection i see when I look at the game, anyway I hope at least you find a few minutes of fun in this game. Thanks
